Environmental Partnership has been part of the multidisciplinary team for the Putney Hill project on the former Ryde Rehabilitation hospital site at Putney for Frasers property.  Our role has included landscape strategy development, masterplanning and landscape design for the project which includes detached housing, multi residential and apartment development on a steeply sloping site.

The first phase of the project was the 2.4 hectare Lardelli Park.  The park sits at the heart of the development and consists of lush parklands encircling a central pond and features a children’s playground, walking/ jogging trail and viewing platforms.  Subsequently the network of streets and supporting open spaces has been implemented.  Planning has optimised tree retention of major site plantings with the supplementary transplanting of major Fig and Palm specimens where retention in-situ was not possible.
