Welcome to Charles Heath Reserve Playground!

Thanks to The City of Canada Bay for putting on a great open day on Saturday for the new Charles Heath Reserve playground in Five Dock.  It was a great day despite the challenging weather.

This major new play space adjoining the Five Dock Leisure Centre will be an important hub for the new community that will grow along the Parramatta Road Corridor in Five Dock.  It has been designed to provide spaces for kids where the whole family can play and have fun together. The playground equipment is 70% inclusive with a range of play areas designed to be used by kids with a combination of abilities. These spaces have been nestled in amongst a beautiful collection of existing trees.

The colour palette has been consciously muted to encourage a calming place that is autism friendly. The colours also integrate the large play towers back into the landscape with their natural tones blending with the surrounding tree canopy.
